Manufacturing Process
Phase A (Water Phase)
1. Measure and heat water and witch hazel distillate to 70°C.
2. Add glycerin slowly while stirring until fully dissolved.
Phase B (Oil Phase)
1. Combine cetearyl alcohol and caprylic/capric triglyceride.
2. Heat to 70°C to melt and achieve uniform texture.
Phase C (Cooling and Final Mixing)
1. Combine Phase A and Phase B and mix thoroughly with a high-shear mixer.
2. Allow the mixture to cool to 40°C and then add chamomile extract, vitamin E, menthol, and fragrance.
3. Adjust pH to 5.0-5.5 using a sodium hydroxide solution.
4. Add the phenoxyethanol & ethylhexylglycerin preservative blend and mix until uniform.
5. Allow to cool to room temperature while continually mixing.
Usage Instructions
After shaving, take a small amount of balm and gently apply over the shaved areas of the face and neck. Avoid contact with eyes. Use daily for optimal soothing and moisturizing effect.
