Manufacturing Process
Water Phase
Heat water to 60°C in a mixing vessel and maintain temperature.
Add citric acid and mix until fully dissolved, ensuring pH stability.
Introduce the bio-based stabilizer slowly while stirring continuously.
Latex Blend Phase
Combine natural rubber latex and rosin ester in a separate vessel.
Stir using a high-shear mixer for 15 minutes to achieve homogenous blend.
Carefully monitor temperature to ensure it remains below 28°C.
Final Processing
Slowly add latex blend to the water phase under low-speed stirring.
Increase mixing speed gradually over 10 minutes to achieve uniform dispersion.
Add preservative and mix for an additional 5 minutes.
Check pH to ensure it remains within the designated range.
Usage Instructions
Apply a thin coat to leather surfaces using a brush or roller. Allow the adhesive to become tacky before pressing surfaces together. Ensure application in a well-ventilated area.
