Ingredients

IngredientPercentageFunction
Zinc Oxide10.0%Acts as a UV absorber and scattering agent to protect fabrics from ultraviolet exposure
Acrylic Binder65.0%Forms a durable film on fabric surfaces, enhancing adherence and weather resistance
Silicone Emulsion5.0%Provides water repellency and facilitates smooth, even coating application
UV Stabilizer2.0%Enhances UV protection by stabilizing polymers against degradation from ultraviolet light
Water18.0%Acts as the main carrier solvent ensuring all ingredients remain thoroughly mixed

Manufacturing Process

Water Phase

  1. Mix water with Zinc Oxide at room temperature until completely dispersed.
  2. Ensure the mixture is homogenized with a high-shear mixer at 1500 rpm for 15 minutes.

Emulsion Phase

  1. Add Acrylic Binder slowly with constant stirring at 500 rpm until fully integrated.
  2. Incorporate Silicone Emulsion and continue mixing for 5 minutes.
  3. Verify emulsion stability at 20°C.

Final Processing

  1. Introduce UV Stabilizer under slow agitation (300 rpm) until the solution is uniform.
  2. Perform a quality control test for pH and ensure the formulation is between 5.5-6.5.
  3. Filter the mixture using a 200-micron filter to remove any particulates.

Usage Instructions

Apply a uniform layer of the coating on clean fabric surfaces using a spray or brushing method. Ensure complete coverage and allow to dry for 24 hours before sun exposure.
